Building high-performing remote sales teams in 2024

The shift to remote work has created both challenges and opportunities for sales organizations. At Radiant, we have embraced a fully distributed model, and the results have exceeded our expectations.

One of the biggest challenges is maintaining team cohesion and culture when everyone is working from different locations. We have found that regular virtual team meetings, combined with quarterly in-person offsites, strike the right balance.

Technology plays a crucial role in enabling remote sales teams. Our own platform was designed with distributed teams in mind, providing real-time visibility into team activity and performance regardless of location.

Training and onboarding new reps in a remote environment requires a deliberate approach. We have developed a comprehensive onboarding program that includes recorded training modules, live shadowing sessions, and a buddy system for new hires.

Perhaps the most surprising benefit of remote sales has been the expansion of our talent pool. By removing geographic constraints, we have been able to hire top sales talent from across the country, significantly raising the overall caliber of our team.
